Our journey began in 2019 with a simple market table and a dream — to bring the elegance of French pastries to our Saint John community.
Since then, we’ve grown into a waterfront favourite at the Container Village and continue to serve our loyal customers across Queen Square and Kingston Farmers Markets. We now expanded our reach to the Capital region since February 2026.
Every croissant we bake and every macaron we fill carries the flavour of Saint John’s heart — local, artisanal, and made with care.
Over the years, local media, food writers, and tourism pages have highlighted Sweet Vanilla as a must-visit bakery in Saint John. They’ve celebrated our artistry, flavour, and the way we’ve brought a taste of France to the East Coast.
“A little piece of Paris on the Saint John waterfront.”
“Where craftsmanship meets community — Sweet Vanilla is redefining dessert culture in New Brunswick.”
Our community is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s a regular at the Container Village, a cruise-ship traveller discovering our macarons for the first time, or a corporate client sharing our desserts at their events — every smile matters.
“The best bakery in Saint John! Everything tastes like love.”
“Romy and her team bring a true French experience to the Maritimes.”
“Worth every bite — the macarons are perfection!”
